With regards to Copper Wire, #2 is Copper that is thinner than 12 Gauge. #1 Copper is 12 Gauge and larger. Picture a standard pencil lead. Most Pencil leads are 12 Gauge. If your wire is at least as thick as that, it is considered #1. With regards to Pipe, most of your Pipe will be considered #2.
The terms "Long" and "Short" are often interchangeable with "Unprepared" and "Prepared". Steel must be within certain dimensions to be considered Short, or Prepared. However, we do accept Long or Unprepared steel at a reduced price.
#2 Steel must be within 3 x 1.5 ft to be considered Short.
#1 and P&S Steel must be within 4 x 2 ft to be considered Short.
All fluids must be drained with a hole in the Oil Pan, Transmission Pan, and a Softball sized hole in the Gas Tank. Gas Tanks made of plastic MUST be removed.
The seller MUST obtain a JUNK TITLE from the Clerks Office for each vehicle He/She desires to sell. If the Title is Lost or Unavailable, we have the ability to clear the vehicle for purchase via the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). If the Vehicle is registered to You and has no outstanding Liens, we will provide an Affidavit of Ownership to transfer the Vehicle.

You may pick up a physical Price List from our Office at any time during Operating Hours.
Price Lists are uploaded weekly to Facebook, which can be found on the Home Page of this Website, or by searching for Mountain Metal Recyclables on Facebook.
If you would like a physical Price List but cannot make it to the office, no problem! Contact us and we will be more than happy to Fax or Email one to you.
